finding ground in separation and divorce

BARBARA UNGARO

I came to psychotherapy in my early forties, in the beginning it was for my own journey of self- discovery and then gradually it became a passion that came with the recognition that this is how I wanted to help others. Change has been a constant in my life and this has been both wonderful and challenging. I have lived in Italy, the US, Germany, Spain and the UK. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I was a lawyer working in the City of London and later became a full-time mother. I greatly appreciate the breadth and diversity of my clients. I very much see psychotherapy as a process that is both compassionate and courageous.

I trained at the Karuna Institute graduating after 5 years with an MA in Mindfulness based Psychotherapy. I have done further training at the NAOS Institute in Advanced Relational Psychotherapy because I am passionate about relationships and how they impact our lives.

GRACE FLORENCE

I began my journey into psychotherapy training after searching for something that met at the intersection of self enquiry, creativity, and spirituality. Rather like Barbara, it soon became apparent that in the journey of healing myself I may have something to offer to the healing journey of others. I have always been courageous, curious, a story-teller too at heart. Psychotherapy married this thirst for others personal experiences with an innate empathy for each unique story of human suffering and resilience. Prior to finding my home in psychotherapy I haphazardly juggled mothering with lifestyle journalism and writing best selling books for mothers.

I qualified as a transpersonal psychotherapist under CCPE, Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London. I continue to expand my passion for the transpersonal and am currently in training to work with dreams as part of their further development program.
